On March 14, 2008, we received a phone call telling us that Braxton had cancer. This blog reflects the journey to recovery as our family walks beside Braxton.

HAPPY DAY! LOVE YOU ALL, GRAMMA N
Hi Brax-
So gad that you get to be at home. There's no place like home! Red Robin is pretty good, too. Which burger do you like? The one with the egg?
We have been having some interesting adventures lately with our new puppy. We have a 7 month old yellow lab great pyranees mix. She is a VERY big puppy. This morning I let her outside while I got dressed for work and she ate a cushion on our front porch. I looked outside and there was stuffing and foam everywhere. She was smiling at me! Good thing we were going to replace those anyway.
Later today Kaitlin said Cheyanne(our puppy) climbed to the top of our very large mulch pile that is waiting to be put in the gardens and started picking out the biggest sticks to chew on. She must think we are the best owners to buy her such a big pile of sticks.
We are praying that you'll be able to come for Alissa and Peter's wedding. Almost a month away. Then you can meet our new puppy!
Love,
Aunt Pam
