On March 14, 2008, we received a phone call telling us that Braxton had cancer. This blog reflects the journey to recovery as our family walks beside Braxton.

Hello Brax, I just got your address to blog on your adventure. This is Mary Beth , your mom’s friend. Adventure is a good attitude. Because Cancer is more of a marathon then a sprint. I like the fact that you’re not shedding any more. It looks good! Besides, You don't want to be as bad as the cat and dog in the spring and leave all that hair around everywhere. It's just not right. I just wanted to let you know that we are thinking about you and praying for you. Take care, the Allisons
